Staking & Rewards

How does the staking work?

You stake WICC tokens to create a position. Your position earns 0.2% daily interest (73% APR). There's no lock period - you can claim rewards anytime after 24 hours.

Can I unstake my tokens?

No. DogWithCap V8 uses permanent staking. Your principal remains staked, but you can claim earned interest anytime. This ensures platform stability and consistent rewards.

Consider this carefully before staking. While you can claim interest, the principal cannot be withdrawn.

How often can I claim rewards?

You can claim rewards anytime after 24 hours from your last claim. There's a 60-second cooldown between transactions to prevent spam.

What is the APR?

  • Base APR: 73% (0.2% daily)
  • With Milestones: Up to 180%+ with bonus rewards

Do rewards compound automatically?

No. You must manually claim and restake if you want compound growth. This gives you flexibility to use your rewards as needed.

How are rewards calculated?

Daily Interest = Staked Amount × 0.2%
Yearly Projection = Daily Interest × 365 days

Example: 10,000 WICC staked

  • Daily: 20 WICC
  • Monthly: ~600 WICC
  • Yearly: ~7,300 WICC (73%)

Milestones & Bonuses

What are milestones?

Milestones are achievement levels (Bronze, Silver, Gold, Diamond) that unlock bonus token rewards based on your staking amount and referral volume.

How do I achieve milestones?

Meet both requirements:

  1. Stake Amount: Total WICC you've staked
  2. Referral Volume: Total stake volume from your referrals

How do vesting rewards work?

Milestone bonuses vest linearly over time:

  • No cliff period - starts immediately
  • Linear vesting - unlocks gradually each day
  • Claim anytime - withdraw vested amount whenever
  • Duration varies - 30-120 days depending on level

Can I lose milestone progress?

No. Once achieved, milestones are permanent. However, you must meet requirements for each level independently.

Referral Program

How does the referral program work?

Share your referral code. When someone stakes using your code:

  • They get normal staking benefits
  • You earn 5% commission on their stake amount
  • Commission is instant and claimable

Where do I find my referral code?

Your wallet address IS your referral code. Share your unique referral link from the Referral page.

Can I refer myself?

No. Self-referral is not allowed and will be rejected by the smart contract.

When can I claim referral rewards?

Anytime! Referral rewards accumulate and can be claimed whenever you want (subject to 60-second cooldown).

Is there a limit to referrals?

No limit! Refer as many people as you want and earn unlimited commissions.

Technical Questions

What are gas fees?

Gas fees are transaction costs paid to network validators. On WicChain:

  • Approve: ~$0.05-0.20
  • Stake: ~$0.15-0.60
  • Claim: ~$0.10-0.40

Keep native WIC tokens for gas.

Why is there a cooldown?

The 60-second cooldown between actions:

  • Prevents spam and manipulation
  • Ensures fair distribution
  • Protects network resources
  • Maintains platform stability

Can I have multiple positions?

Yes! Create unlimited positions. Each position:

  • Earns independently
  • Can be claimed separately or together
  • Has its own tracking

What happens if transaction fails?

If a transaction fails:

  • No tokens are lost
  • Gas fee is still consumed
  • Check error message for reason
  • Retry with correct parameters

Can I cancel a pending transaction?

Yes, use your wallet to:

  • Speed up transaction (higher gas)
  • Cancel transaction
  • Wait for it to process naturally

Security & Safety

Is my money safe?

Your funds are as safe as your wallet. DogWithCap is:

  • Non-custodial (you control keys)
  • Audited smart contracts
  • No access to your wallet without approval

What if I lose my wallet?

If you lose access to your wallet (lost seed phrase):

  • Your funds cannot be recovered
  • No one can help retrieve them
  • Always backup your seed phrase securely

Can admin take my funds?

No. The contract is non-custodial. Admins can:

  • Adjust interest rates
  • Pause in emergencies
  • Manage reward pool

Admins CANNOT:

  • Withdraw your staked tokens
  • Access your wallet
  • Transfer your positions

What if contract is hacked?

While unlikely due to audits and security measures:

  • Emergency pause can halt operations
  • Audits minimize vulnerabilities
  • Always do your own research (DYOR)

Troubleshooting

"Insufficient Balance" Error

  • Check you have enough WICC tokens
  • Ensure you have native tokens for gas
  • Refresh balance display

"Approve Failed"

  • Increase gas limit
  • Check network connection
  • Try again during low congestion

"Cooldown Active"

Wait 60 seconds since your last action. Timer shows remaining time.

Position Not Showing

  • Wait for transaction confirmation
  • Refresh the page
  • Check correct network selected
  • Clear cache and reconnect wallet

Wrong Network
